Drive Image 2002 - Lite-on problem??

I have been using DI2002 to back up on a 32 cdrw and everything has been working fine. I upgraded to the cyndyne (Lite-on) 48X cdrw drive and now everytime it gets finished with the first CD and tries to close it, the program locks up (It reboots to a special dos program to back it up). It says closing CD and then hangs up.

Any suggestions, I checked the website and it only says that they support most cdrw's 8X plus.
