Drive Image 1805 Error

I'm trying to use Drive Image to create a backup of the system volume in the computer that I'm going to give to my sister. It's running Win2k SP3, so after I set up the image options in Windows, it reboots to the Caldera DOS image. I want the image to be made on another NTFS volume on the same physical drive.

The problem is that every time I try to do this, Drive Image stops, deletes the image file, and throws up an 1805 error. I tried changing the compression options (it doesn't get as far), turning off verify (it gets farther), and turning off power saving options in the BIOS. I even tried splitting the image up into multiple files. There's enough space on the the volume on which I am trying to create the volume; thus far, Drive Image has always quit with more than enough space free.

Is there something else which I might be missing or could try to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Make sure the only option ticked off is High Compression only and try it again.

Powerquest has a master list of all it's error codes on the website. Here's the 1805 listing. I think this same info is available in the pdf file that was installed along with Drive Image.

GrumpyMan -- tried that. Got to 73% before going kaput, which is better in one sense, but got to about the same amount of the volume done.

RalfHutter -- I looked at the page before posting. Nothing applies to me. The error can also mean that the volume is out of space, but there is more than enough space there for the image.

Re-read the error page and you will see that they ask you to run it in debug mode, then send the information to the support address.
