Drive from External USB as Internal Drive

I have a WesternDigital Mybook 1TB and I pulled the drive out because I needed a drive to test my ReadyNAS.

So I put the drive in, the ReadyNAS fires up, but detects it as 100% full (does detect as correct size tho).

My question is, is there anything about the drives in the WD Mybooks that would prevent it from working fine as a normal internal drive? It appears the same as all my other 1TB Green drives...
