Besides the manufactures utilities (which won't work with my built in RAID Controller) what are the best bets on harddrive diagnostic tools? To check platters, drive surface, etc.
My mobo connects sata drives through the RAID controller even when not running a raid setup so I can't run Maxtors utilities.
