Drive cleanup question?

Hello.

I am at work running W2K and connected to a network. I would like to clean up my hard drive but when I run disk cleanup from system tools, i get to the compress old files and it just sits there. I may get 4 bars on the progress bar and just stops there. I have left it over the weekend only to come in Monday to see it in the same spot i left it on Friday. I have tried it in safe mode with the same results. Anyone have any ideas?

What is probably happening is that it's scanning ALL of your mapped network drives for files that can be compressed. Try disconnecting all of your mapped drives, or just unplugging from the network, before you run the scan.
