Drive Channel Configuration

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the forum to post this topic in, but I have a question to ask about the drive configuration in a system. Currently, I have a nf7-s that is setup like this

Primary Channel Master: Hard Drive
Primary Channel Slave: Hard Drive
Secondary Channel Master: DVD burner
Secondary Channel Slave: CD burner

Would it be beneficial for me to move the second hard drive so that it's now a master of the second channel? Would this boost transfer rates? The configuration would then look like:

Primary Channel Master: Hard Drive
Primary Channel Slave: DVD burner
Secondary Channel Master: Hard Drive
Secondary Channel Slave: CD burner

I appreciate any help that you guys can provide. Thanks!
