If it's 20oz bottles, then it's a damn good deal, because they usually cost $.99 each.

Maybe the fact that in certain regions, the cost of soda is outlandish when not on sale. For instance, in the Bay Area you can walk into most grocery stores and it will be somewhere in the neighborhood of $4.49 for a 12-pack and $2.49 for a six-pack (when not on sale). Anything around $3.00 12-pack is a good deal and occasionally you're lucky to find a 2/$5.00 (as opposed to other areas where I've seen it as low as $1.88 12-pack on sale Coke or Pepsi products)

The $0.99 6-pack deal is usually a good time to make a trip to Fry's (before they run out of stock on the Diet Coke).

A really good deal is a case (24) for $4. So 99 cents for a 6 pack is on par...

i went to fry's last week.. they had huge crates of coke in cans.. no one there could tell me the price that they were gonna be though... 99 cents per 6pack isn't too bad.. that's less than a quater per can.. even generic soda is 35 cents now a days.. i think i might have to pick some up

I'm hoping you don't dream of Hot Deals... you may have issues if you do.. especially dreaming about a hot deal for a 6-pack of 20oz bottles of soda... jk :D

Fry's always has this deal throughtout the year. You also have to add crv to it which you dont always expect. To me saving 50 cents on a 6 pack is not worth driving to fry's and standing 30 minutes in line=). But 6 pack for 0.99 is still the cheapest you'll find it in the Bay Area.

This must be a nationwide deal for Fry's. The Wilsonville store (Oregon) has the same price.
