So awesome.. I feel just Capt. Picard minus the cool job, star ship, position of power, in the future, balding, fiction, respect, and Starfleet bits.

... and the women, too.

I get my tea from this place.

The blue flower Earl Grey is far superior than that Twinings stuff.

Oh, if you are using teabags, you should be beat. 😀 Get the loose tea. There is NO comparison, well yes I suppose there is, i.e. mud vs your favorite good beer or wine.

Also, the reserve blend Darjeeling is quite good, especially for a moderately priced tea.

I don't buy that. Good tea is good tea. If you put your Tealuxe tea in a mesh bag it wouldn't taste any different from your metal infuser. If you are buying good tea, it will taste good no matter how you infuse it.
Although, I do advocate the use of a french press over any kind of infuser.

If the tea was the same then that would be true. The tea is NOT the same however. Tea is sifted through strainers. What you get in bags is the finest, or the powder. What you do not get is the leaf, which is what is found in loose tea.

You are saying cow is cow, and the hoof is the same as a steak. No, they are very different. There are better and worse tea bags though. Tazo uses a better quality than most, and some who regularly drink loose brewed teas find them acceptable. That does not mean preferable though.

Heres hoping that your next cup ends up like that episode where picard orders some and gets a cactus or some kind of plant in a cup.

Cost of Living
#220

Lwaxana Troi also gets some sort of meat product in her drink.

"Tea, earl grey, hot!"

Or if you like that wussy Riker who can't handle anything by himself, "All hands battle stations, Captain Piccard to the bridge!"

I thought it was the one where the Yamato explodes...with the Iconian planet in it?

Well if they are going to battle stations and picard just carries on playing his flute or something....that would be quite amusing.

Contagion #137 I think is the episode you refer to.

I could swear it was Cost of Living because Lwaxana Troi was on board.

Hmm, I believe I posted about my Earl Gray habits earlier...but yea, it pwns me!

Twinings is the best...got the big tin at Costco that lasts me a year!
