I think we need to place this on every politician while Congress is in session. I'd be up for sponsoring the install fee for my Senators and congress critter. However, it would be nice if they had devices that sensed other drugs too but maybe random(or weekly) urine tests could limit that.

Anyone with me?

Heh... welcome back. I think you got banninated the week I joined. :p

I think if you forced random UAs on congress drugs would be quickly legalized.

Pretty pathetic that we can drug test high school football players and cheerleaders, but not politicians.

You know what, a groundswell of support for the politicians to voluntarily submit to drug testing might be a really cool thing.

& welcome back Cad :D

Welcome back to both of you. Should we expect to see Shiner one of these days soon?

He's here, somewhere, the patron saint of the banned :)

Matter of fact if a couple of the senior mods wouldn't mind, that would be an awesome custom title :D

& thanks for the welcome, I was self banned for about a year & a half. I needed a break

I think the changes here are great.

There was a law passed requiring drug tests for congress, but it was stricken down because it was ruled irrelevant to their ability to perform the job or something like that. I can't remember the name of the case anymore.

Are you serious? Millions of Americans can be fired from their jobs for failing a drug test on the implication that they are unfit to perform their job.

Yet some asshole (Judge?) said that does not apply to the people that make our laws?
