Drinking a St. Bernardus Abt 12

you sonuvabitch... in the name of every beer-lover who's currently chained to a cubicle, I CURSE YOU!

🙂

Yep. I have a bottle in my fridge right now. I try to keep at least one bottle in my possession at all times. One of my all time favorites.

Is there still some left in the bottle?
How good are you at fighting/self defense?
What is your current location?

One of the things I like about it is that its easy to find. Now if i could only get my hands on a bottle of Trappist Westvleteren 12....🙂

I know what you mean. I live in South Florida. It's an import/craft beer wasteland down here, I have to suffer and take whatever Total Wine has in stock. I haven't seen a gueuze for sale anywhere down here, and that's one of my favorite styles.

I'll look for it, if it can be found.

btw-I was uber-disappointed with my purchase of Samichlaus (14% alcohol). Tasted like beer flavored liquor. It really kicked me in my beer snob nose because I paid $27 for a four pack of 11.2 oz. bottles.

St. Bernie Quad will not dissapoint. It's rich, malty, Belgiany goodness in a corked up bottle of win.

Haha, that stuff sits on the shelves just like any other beer at all the Binny's in the chicagoland. And yes, I've had it several times, and yes it's delicious.

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of belgian darks. I fucking LOVE belgian blondes, though. *shrug*

I love all Belgians equally. 😛

I've been hearing all sorts of good things about this beer... I should probably pick myself up some over the holidays.

what???!?!?! I ABSOLUTELY loved Samichluas with all my heart and soul, it is DEFINITELY the only Belgian-style Ale that I ever drank and liked.
needless to say, i despise anything Belgian.

Everytime I buy a bottle of this stuff it tastes so sickenly sweet I can barely finish it. I have no idea why but to me it is just awful.
