Please post your best hangover cures. (I will not accept "just don't drink", cause that is just not happening)


Mine is a glass of Gatorade and two Advil an hour before waking up and functioning.

What's yours?

if you chug some water in that magical period where you aren't quite drunk still, but the hangover hasn't hit... that should do the trick

i drink some coke with pepto the next day to help the nausea

I make sure I get very very hydrated before drinking...1L or more of h2o before going out...I do have to hit the bathroom more often, but usually feel soooo much better in the AM.
If that doesnt work, I agree w/ the gatorade. A can of Mt Dew seems to help too- that's about the only time I drink it...

If I dont have to work that day, I'll have a couple drinks- that almost always cures it right away

I find the most effective (in order):

1. Pot
2. Boost
3. Motrin
edit: 3.5. Cant forget coffee!
4. Water

Don't need one, never had a hangover. Had alcohol poisoning even, but always feel better the next day than I did before drinking.

I haven't found anything that works. Although if I sober up before I go to bed, it's not too bad.

I knew a flight attendant that swore by oxygen, is that true? What if instead of oxygen all you had was nitrous?

don't overindulge

oh and whatever you do, don't take alka seltzer or any other acetaminophen after a night of drinking. i'm pretty sure it contributed to my liver inflammation. :(

Before I go to bed I drink as much water as possible, and bring it to bed to drink throughout the night. Next day the same, massive amounts of water and maybe some advil.

a bunch of water and 4 advil 2-3 hours before truly "waking up" for the day

I just chug as much water as I can right before going to bed, and have at least a liter of it next to bed. Works 99% of the time.
