Drilling holes in the sides of an HQ-08

This case can be a little hot down below, although with a Vantec system cooler and a front exhaust fan it is pretty good.

I don't want to put side fans on the side of my case, but what i would like to do is drill a series of holes at the top and bottom of the case (as on the HQ45) and then place a mesh grill over the top.

Any reason why i shouldn't do this?
