They make it, it hasnt had a normal season in a couple years, but they show new episodes in the summer. Although its uncertain what will happen after this summer.

No she doesnt look anything like the chick that played Kate.

ABC axed the show in April. The new episodes currently being shown are ones that ABC had remaining to show.

It may be "canceled" but ABC still has to pay for 26 more episodes for next season, and pretend they might actually air them. Warner Bros isnt letting ABC out of its contract, 26 episodes will be taped, they may or may not be aired by ABC. Its the series that cant be killed.

Ha made Drew Carey a hell of alot of money though.
