MainFramed,

Casual anti-gay remarks are not cute, they are not funny, and they will not be tolerated on our forums.

Private school?

That's the good thing about going to college in the South. It's hot and there is no dress code. Lots of pretty girls.

Do you go to a Private School? If not and if the shirt didn't have anything offensive or gang related on it then that is BS.

I wear a printed t-shirt under my button up at work, although i button high enough nobody can see it.

Next time wear a long shirt with your printed shirt OVER it. That willg et them going. Then kick them in the box and/or nuts!

Remember kids - being different is wrong! Point out the dress-code violators among you and help ensure a well-oiled educational machine!

ya our school JUST got it this year, no more skimpy girls..

and why did you get yelled at?

my school got there ideas (this is like one of 3 new policys)

they got it from a texas school, that i guess is one of the best in the nation, with test scores and what not.

some of the other new policys is..

a bully policy, you can not tease or do anything like that or your in 'trouble'

and a new tardy policy, lucky i am never tardy, or i would get a lunch duty, and a refferal

glad this is my last year :)

I get a kick out of people chiming in with their "ultra-sly," way too literal and sarcastic interpretation of someone's post.... only to completely invalidate it with a stupid typo ;)

Those all sound like good policies.

I support a dress code in public schools, I support the bully policy, I support the tardiness policy.

You're lucky you go to such a good school.

Who does that? Wear a white shirt, or turn the printed shirt inside-out so that you can't see what's on it. You look silly when you can see the writing on your T-shirt under your outer shirt.

But, you should go to school to learn - that is, unless you don't care about where you'll end up in the future. School is not a place to have a fashion show. :(

as a post hs, post college kid (22yrs old), I'd actually prefer to see strong dress codes enforced at any HS my future children might attend. I think using clothing as a primary means of self expression is a faulted modality, especially for adolescents. HS should be a time of social discovery, not an exercise in stratification based on arbitrary trends.

No real dress code at my school, except you can't wear something that promote violence, drug use, etc. And girls can't wear anything close to what they deem revealing. (damn :p )
