There are three threads about Dremel tools, This is the most recent.
Lowe's advertised on the TV that the Two Speed Dremel Tool was on sale for $29.99, down from $39.99 last week. I would have liked to see it at $19.99, like the thread above advertised (Expired? Certain Markets Only), but for $29.99 it seemed like a good deal.
The difference: When you go to Lowe's, the two speed Dremel Kit is model #2850. You might find two configs, one with 30 bits and one with 35 bits, plus the case/toolbox is different. The one with 35 bits has more sanding accessories, the one with 30 has more grinding bits. I chose the sanding version since I plan to use it more for woodworking, but looked long and hard at the other one, since it seemed like you got a few more expensive bits. Anyway, this would make a nice gift, especially to someone grinding off a few fins on their SuperOrb to get it to fit their K7 MOBO. Hope this helps somebody.
