Notepad > * (including Dreamweaver) :p

right, but for developers who make money doing it like to have a little bit of efficiency.
When notepad
-automatically writes my closing tags
-color codes all of my tags, attributes, scripts, etc...
-has tag libraries for help with attributes for all languages
-has user based snippets
-has built in file browser
-has projects
-has advanced search and replace
-has code hiding
-has split level code-view
-has syntax checker
-has end-tag finder
-has built in ftp and rds
-has link checkers
-has depricated tag warnings
-has custom toolbars, with custom functions
-has a lot more stuff that i've mentioned here
....i'll consider using it again.

I'm sick of wannabe geeks who feel so "1337" because they use notepad.
Do you still compute at a command prompt with your 486?

I had this terrible time when I was editing a templated file and it kept saying something about do I want to keep my changes. Something is definitely wrong with the html parser because I fixed the erroneous html table code and finally dreamweaver started working properly again. I'll check out the patches because it needs it.
