Dreamweaver 8.0 - basic questions

If I create a webpage in Dreamweaver 8.0, can i upload that to my webhosting? I know my webhost "supports Front Page extensions" and FTP uploading, but I don't really know more than that.

I'm obviously a total DW n00b...I'm just going to use a template and creat some basic pages. Thanks for any help you can provide.
 
Dream Weaver will save your work in .html format, same as if you typed it out in notepad or Front Page.
 
And, . . . Adobe has now acquired Dreamweaver. Look for integration into their web publisher.
