Does anyone else have crazy, fucked up dreams?

Last night I dreamed that myself and 3 others conspired together to murder a man for reasons unknown. Anyway on the night of the crime my friend and I realize that we cannot go through with the murder plot and instead work to betray the other 2 before the murder takes place. Unfortunately our planned betrayal arrives too late to stop the killing but we are able to subdue and detain our would-be partners in crime and have the two arrested by law enforcement. The police in this reality act as judge, jury and executioner and sentence the two prisoners to eternity in a hellish prison where they are decapitated and their heads placed in artificial life support to keep the brain alive and trap the mind in a never-ending hell. Having their sentence carried out, the two end up in an insane asylum. Meanwhile my friend and I, wracked with the guilt of betrayal and the horrific punishment carried out on our two partners as well as the guilt of having failed to prevent the murder, are eventually driven insane as well and end up in the same insane asylum as the disembodied heads of our co-conspirators. Eventually scientists at the insane asylum develop artificial bodies for the disembodied heads and just before they are able to communicate the full story of what happened that night and reveal our connections to the murder, we preempt the reveal and confess our part in the crime invoking a catharsis that brings us out of our insanity. But now that the full story is out the potential consequence of having the same judgment carried out on my friend and I is imminent. The dream ends but I am left with the impression that the two of us have also become disembodied heads on artificial life support, trapped in an endless hell with just our torturous thoughts for companionship.

Clearly whatever your wall of text says means you have a brain tumor thus you get crazy dreams.

The only time I can remember my dreams are when I take melatonin to help me sleep. They typically wake me up every couple hours briefly, and they are mighty strange. Though I can't recall any of them specifically.

As a child I had night terrors, those were, well terrifying.

Um....I dream that there are occasionally spiders under the covers. As in, one or two wolf spiders.
Thrilling stuff.

I've had some pretty weird dreams. Out of laziness I'll repost a couple...

I just had an epic Minecraft/S.T.A.L.K.E.R./My Little Pony dream. For brevity, I'll focus on the My Little Pony part, which was comparatively short. As a Stalker I had just defeated some giant albino cockroach things in an ancient sarcophagus under a large Middle Eastern-themed Stalker base, and while I was going to leave to drop off my loot at my Minecraft home, I noticed a stash right outside the base. The marking interestingly said (all quotes paraphrased) "Make sure you get a friend to help you with this one!", and so who else would I add to my party but Twilight Sparkle? Outside it was a gloomy Persian-themed desert wasteland and up against the lone base was a pile of oriental rugs, right where the stash was marked on my PDA. I told Twilight Sparkle to make a distraction, so she dipped her horn in an ink jar and began doing calculus on the walls of the building.

Suddenly, Gandalf walked over and yelled at us for vandalizing such a beautiful and sacred building. Twilight Sparkle said that there was no cause for alarm and that the ink would go away, and she quickly magicked it so. Gandalf said "Ok, I know what you're up to" and we were both like "What ever do you mean?" He angrily shouted "You're here to steal my bullet! I know it!" and then he reached behind the rug and displayed a lone .50 caliber bullet. I was like "What? Just one bullet? That's all?" and we laughed "Fool, this is no ordinary bullet! This is a magical bullet which does 1,000 to 1,000,000 damage, enough to kill any single foe!"

Then I reloaded my last save and tried again. This time Twilight Sparkle used telekinesis to take the bullet from a distance, and Gandalf immediately appeared again threatening to use force if we did not return it. Suddenly Princess Celestia swoops down and says "What is the trouble, my faithful student?" to which Gandalf interjects, "Your "faithful student" has stolen an item of utmost importance to me!" Twilight Sparkle and I insist that it is our magical bullet and that we have no idea what he is talking about. Princess Celestia then calmly states "Well, Twilight Sparkle, from what you have learned about friendship, how do you expect to solve this problem?", and then suddenly a huge dialogue tree appears in my vision. I select "Cast meteorite" at which point Gandalf is stuck with a brilliant bolt of explosive rainbow fury. Gandalf then states "Fine, keep the bullet for now, but do not think there shall not be recourse for your actions later! Good bye!" and teleports away. Then I notice a pop up stating my karma had changed, and that it was now "Very Good", which seemed lower than whatever it was before. Then I woke up.

After watching Bowling for Columbine, my dreams for the next few days were about Michael Moore being my dad. He was a really nice dad, too. He cut a hole in my bedroom floor down to the garage and added a firefighter pole, a dream I always had as a child, and then played games with me. After that he enlarged my backyard playground and we went down the chutes together. I originally thought he was a bit of a jerk, but after that experience I think he's a really nice guy.

In the dream I was a soccer mom living in a cozy San Diego suburb, with a husband and two children. Fairly normal. As it turns out, the husband was cheating on me, and the other woman was sleeping in the bedroom. I tied her to the bed and strangled her to death, and then proceeded to stab her several times. The husband walked in on me and then I pulled out a gun and shot him. I took the children with me so I could run away some place (Mexico, maybe) and start a new life, but the police had arrived. The rest of the dream involved numerous high-speed car chases, helicopters with miniguns, and much more general awesomeness. Sadly, the bastards got my children and took them both. I was depressed and wandering around, looking for a way to get them back and then I found a nanite recycler, ala System Shock II. I fed all of my material possessions and the bodies of my victims into the machine and in exchange got several red and yellow block things. I can't remember why I chose to get those blocks, but that's how the dream went.

Anyways, stupidly I wandered back to the house where the murders took place and saw a bright yellow hummer parked there. Then I heard the screaming of my two children... from under the hummer! The cops somehow forced both of them into a Tupperware container and placed it under the vehicle. Unaware that it was a trap, I opened the lid to hear beeping. Quickly I sprinted away and just barely avoided the blast. More helicopters in the distance heard the explosion and came over to get me, but they were too slow. I was south of the border, in a plane headed for Iceland, and spent the rest of my life in a small Nordic town. Eventually I wandered too far into the snow and died of hypothermia.

Seriously there is little in life worse than somebody relaying their dream. Sometimes in person I have to be polite and listen, but on a forum? HELL NO.

I've had some pretty off the wall dreams. Had one that started with finding a frog which turned out to be extinct, so I made a time machine to go back to when it wasn't extinct so I could find out more about it. After an odd series of events (mostly in a big shopping mall back in what appeared to be the 1980's) I ended up getting killed by some girls mother, who stabbed me with a weird looking horn. Oddly, I foiled a robbery earlier in the dream and that guy had the same horn. What does it all mean?!

It's crazy how much detail you can remember from some dreams.

My last dream, which was last night was effing epic! Been a long time since I dreamed about something like that!

It all started in an appartment on some higher floor. All of a sudden gigantic beast resembling a lot like the Great Old Ones from Lovecraft tales, appearing in the horizon, shouting frightening roars and wierd sounds. They were attacking the city and kidnapping, destroying and killing everything/everyone they could.

We were hiding in the appartment and decided to try to kill one big ass monster that was just out of the window. Hilariously enough we found guns, launchers, spears, tridents, double bladed swords and all sort of weird weaponery. So we tried bashing at that monster which was a mix of Yig and Azathot...damn frightening.

In the room we were like 10 people and among us was a father and his little 10-12 years old daughter. He was protecting her while trying to give a hit or two at the beast.

The beast was destroying walls, grabing people, eating them, spitting bones back at us. We were shooting it with rocket launchers, guns and some were throwing spears. We managed to hit it hard enough that the titan simply ran away with all his friends.

When calm and peace was back I looked back at the dude and his daughter. The girl ran towards her father and jumped on him in joy. She then made a hugging move and said "Mom, i'm so happy to see you!!"...but there was no one...

Then I woke up and was ready to take to world...
