I haven't had any for years...

I don't think I've ever had any of those psychotic hell-like dreams (like the movie Hellraiser).. However, I did have some nightmare about losing a family member or loved ones. That is technically not a nightmare(hellraiser 😉) but it sure does scare me though

Any of you had any very unusual, disturbing dreams? if so, tell! tell! (oOh.. fun)

My friend told me once that he had a nightmare where he was standing in the middle of this lonely, gloomy cemetary. He spotted a guy in black suit, and tapped him on the shoulder. When the guy turned around, He had no face. Meaning, he had no features on his face.. just blank skin..

PS- oh yea, what significance having ur teeth fall off in dreams mean? My friend has that dream frequently on regular basis
 
oh well i was stuck in this elevator in a skyscrapper right? all of a sudden it starts falling like mad (must have been the "Free Fall" ride at the Six Flags) then i knew it was coming, bounced right back and started skyrocketing breaking away from the building all they way into the staratosphere (watch 3d mark2k demo, you know that part). now the folks on earth were busy trying to rescue me, the elevator descended with a parachute on it (in op flash demo, the helicopter gets shot down and you jump off of it with a chute) landing in the pacific ocean. man, i became a world class celebrity after that incident 😀
 
I had a dream last night that Bill Gates was trying to teach me and a whole class Anand's review of the 760MPX chipset......... naked.......
 
for some reason when i dream i always have normal dreams then the next day what i dreamt actually happens and its like deja vu...wierd stuff man
 
I had an extremely vivid dream last week that my computer was being hacked, while I was using it! 🙂 I remember getting extremely freaked as the hacker randomly started to delete files and stuff... I finally wised up and hit the reset button, only to find my HD automatically formatting itself after the reboot... the last thing I remember before I woke up was "Oh well... Thank god I have everything backed up on this tape!" 🙂

edit: recently i dreamt that someone broke into my car and and my glove box compartment

I could only imagine the horror you would express if your tapes were missing...not that I would...know...or anything...<slowly walks away>

Has anyone else had a recurring nightmare? Well, for some reason, whenever I get really ill, I have this same dream that I've had since I was a kid. It's like a chapter that keeps going and going and there seems to be no end! Eventhough you know the outcome, you still can't change it. I can't remember the details right now and since I've been taking care of my health lately, I haven't dreamt that recently... But does anyone else experience this (e.g., recurring nightmare)?
 
I used to have this reoccuring dream when I was younger. It's silly now, but as a little kid, it scared the living hell out of me. =P I used to dream about this giant panda chasing me in this field of grass trying to eat me. I'd climb fences and such to try to get away from it, but all it would do is chase after me even more.

At that time, I didn't know pandas were vegetarians and lived only in areas where there's bamboo. =P

Consciously, I would be awake, but my body would be paralyzed and i wouldn't be able to move... then i would feel a presence in the room... or i would feel like i was on a roller coaster, flying through a dark tunnel, with my entire body feeling numb as if it was asleep (like the tingly sensation you get when your leg falls asleep).

 
Umm, does re-occurring vivid dreams about and old flame count? I have been dreaming about this one for the last month or so almost every night for some reason.

I only had nightmares when i was a kid...one scary one was this...

i would go downstairs to see my dad and his face with be green and look like some kind of demon..then i'd go to run to my mom for help and her face would be green too. scared the living sh*t out of me! :Q
 
Here's one I had not too long ago.

It started as a nightmare, but then, somehow, I realized I was dreaming. I then started changing everything around in my dream. It turned out to be one of the best dreams I've had... For a short while, I was omnipotent because I had complete control over my surroundings, and the people in my dream 🙂

I know a couple of people that have had that type of experience. My dad and my bro have had it. Do you feel like someone is sitting on top of your chest and when you try to speak or scream, nothing comes out? We call that the &quot;sitting ghost&quot; where there actually is a ghost trying to press down on your body. I know it doesn't sound too real, but heck.. If it's happened to them two and a couple of others that I know of, I'd sure believe it. Normally, this type of thing happens when you sleep with your arms crossed on your chest or something; sort of like the way mummys have their arms crossed their chest or something close to that. I find myself sleeping with my arms placed on my chest sometimes and I remember what could happen, so I try to stop myself. It's a comfy position though. I can't really describe it. Try to imagine your hands placed ontop of one another right in the middle of your chest.
 
sleep paralysis is nothing but a sleep disorder usually caused by tiredness. It occurs when your brain and the body mis-synchronize while sleeping. Thus resulting to be awake consciously while ur body is still asleep. That's why you can't move.

Ghost sighting and alike is all in ur head from the fear of your body not moving

Here in Hawaii, the no face lady is part of our urban legend. People have seen her at public Women's bathrooms, combing her long black hair. Its scary when if you about it....Speaking of nightmares, you guys ever had nightmares about the Playstation game Resident Evil? I had a dream about zombies in the game chasing me around my school...was kinda interesting.
 
hehe i never knew sleep paralysis was THAT common.. i get that occasionally 😱
ever tried to take a nap on a hot day with a fan pointed on you? chances of getting sleep paralysis is at least 33% :X
 
i dont remember the details but....i was running around srceaming my head off while holding out my hands infront of me. the reason i was holding my hands out was to catch my teeth that were falling out!@@ the strange thing was, they were all rotton and looked like honeycombs cereal!! 😕


i read up on it (cause it freaked the sh!t out of me!!)and i found out that teeth (or a tooth) falling out means that you feel as though you are losing control of an aspect of your life. i think i was going through troubles with my girl at teh time.....hehe..all good now though! 🙂
