I just had an odd dream and just woken up from it.

It felt vivid and I was participating in it.

I wasn’t hearing the music, but I was in the mood I feel when listening to Radical Dreamers

It almost felt like I had reached the end of some task in a video.
I don’t recall the exact words, but like an announcer over a mic system telling me to tell my mother, who suddenly was with me, to go sit on a bench.
My mother moved to sit toofsr to her left and not on it. Then a female announcer over a mic system, in advanced Mandarin, to my mother to sit in the right place. My mother the moved her right and slowly sat on the bench. She then asked something to the effectof ok, I’ll sit down, is this the correct place, and then a pause for maybe 5-8 seconds, it felt.
My sight was were perpendicular to my mother.

Then I started feeling agitated and started seeing a rapid progression of geometric designs and shapes in a very orderly fashion just progress in my visions and I was hearing technical words in the background, of which I only recall “thermobaric decompression”. But the progression felt like I was “traveling” back to somewhere. My body felt like it was traveling to another dimension or something and when the journey felt done, I opened my eyes wide awake, no “tiredness”, and with a little tinnitus.

My sight was were perpendicular to my mother.

Despite these visual descriptions, I was not visibly seeing what I described in the first place. I do not remember seeing an actual metal bench, just the feeling it was there.
I woke up a minute before 5:47am and went to sleep after 3am, might have taken 40 minutes to doze off.

It’s been years since I dreamed anything, and certainly not expected with the sleep schedule I had. That dream was maybe 8 or so years back, and it was basically a wishful happy ending sort in which my cat was still alive rather than dead. The. I woke up and felt sad because my cat was still dead irl.

That sounds like an amazing dream.

I have very vivd, very weird dreams all the time. Several nights a week. About all sorts of things. I wish there was a way to record them. Not just trying to remember it after the fact and writing it down. I have some dreams I remember even to this day. One dream I have had twice, and only one time have I been able to lucid dream, and control what happened in it.

Dreams are crazy. One of my friends has a theory that dreams are our other lives we live in an alternate reality, and our lives here are that other life's dreams.
