Dreamcast stuff at WalMart.com

Linkorama

They have a bunch of games, controllers, VMUs, Force Paks, etc. Games range from $10 -20. Not the greatest of deals we were used to when everyone was blowing out their DC stock, but this stuff is getting harder to find - especially new.

DC is a fun system with a lot of emulators available. It was mighty hacked, like the Xbox system. You might have found a ton of games for it on the Kaxxa network way back when. Now it is with the Sega Saturn, Sega 32x, Sega Neptune, Sega Nomad, Sega Genesis, Sega CDX, and the Sega Master System in the hall of old school systems.

Why wouldn't you play DC? There are quite a few good games for it, and some games in some respects are better than some of the "current" systems.

Find one at a yard sale and get a few of the "A" titles for it - you'll see what I mean.

And...I bet Sal still plays his DC too.

Thanks! I have two DCs (one per kid), along with a PS2 and XBOX. My kids still like the Dreamcasts and the games look great! Now to find some reviews to see which of these games are really worth getting. Any recommendations are welcome.

I do. Hell, I still play NES and SNES, too. If I had an Atari 2600, I'd still play that as well.

Wish I could find a fighter I thought was as cool as Soul Caliber... perhaps SC2 will fulfill that?

I play Dreamcast as well. It has some great multiplayer games. Marvel vs Capcom 2, Tennis 2k3, Soul Calibur, etc

Yeah, the only thing wrong with the Dreamcast is that it's no longer made, so no new games are coming out for it. But there are lots of good games for the Dreamcast, and the Xbox and PS2 are really only modestly better than the Dreamcast as video game platforms...

The Dreamcast is far from a relic at this point...

I do!

I will still argue that the DC has some of the best games ever even including the new systems, I still haven't seen a fighter with as good of a fighting system or that looks as Soul Caliber.

hey salvador! long time no talk...

anyways, i still love my dreamcast. gotta love the sports titles. great party games. i actually just bought NHL 2K2 about a week ago.

check it out: $4.99 at ebgames.com

unfortunately shipping is $4.99 for purchases up to $75 but no tax so it costs $9.98 shipped but still a rather good deal. i bought 2 copies so my cousin and i split the shipping.
