I'd like a cheap dialup internet connection I can use for my dreamcast. Limited hours isn't a big deal as I don't spend every waking moment on it. I was just kinda wondering what you guys use if anything. I've got cable, and $120 for a broadband adapter is a little steep. Any ideas? Thanks

Didn't I see somewhere that a network card hack was put together? So you can share the connection?

Some cable internet providers have a backup dialup number...that might be your free ticket to DC online fun.

where have you found broadband adaptors?
i cant seem to find one

i'd spend $120, it beats paying $10 a month for dailup

as far as dialup goes, i used at&t with the dreamcst and seemed to work fine
the have a $10 plan

E-gay. Found quite a few actually. They originally were ONLY sold through Sega directly and they no longer sell them. So you'll probably have to find one used.

Actually, I found a DC Broadband adapter at Funcoland for $20. I had no game to use it with (there are very few that are compatible) so I sold it for $135 on eBay.

And yes, many broadband companies include free unlimited dial up with your service. Check their webpage. Otherwise, lots of places have cheap dial up if you pay for a full year.

Note to self--hit up all game shops in the area for DC BB adaptors.

Actually found Sega Maracas for $30 at an EBX....they'd fetch a tidy profit, if only I were willing to part with them.
