Who hired the web page designer who made the Stacker pages? Felt like I was on 56K all over again.

Yeah, they are getting a little overboard with the java

Fvck yeah thats a nice case! How much and how big is it?

Specs on the site say 9.8" x 21" x 25" (W x H x D) . . . so it's BIG!

Last I heard it should be in the just under $200 range . . .

Coolermaster was giving away some of these in a contest they had earlier . . .

It's not out yet though . . .

Antec could easily have made it weight 75% less, but that would have meant all-aluminum construction, and that would have ruined it as a silent case.

You could always eat your cake, then throw it back up. So you can eat your cake, and have it too.

mine would be full tower case, black in color, 120mm fan in front bottom intake, one 80mm fan in hard drive cage similar to my antec TX640, it would have the hard drive cage like i mentioned plus i would like it to be tool less for the cd-rom bays and have 4-5 bays for them. side intake i like the duct and 92mm fan on my TX640 so i would like that. no window on side for me :) for rear exhaust i would have dual 120mm sucking air through the case and out the back.

Looks interesting, but it's billed as "future-proof," and I can't see anything innovative about it from the standpoints of either ventilation or silencing. It really looks like a gussied up case from the last century rather than something that's "future proof." If Cooler Master had the sense to put any photos on the Web site that really showed what the thing looks like internally, I might change my opinion, but that futuristic crap they've posted leaves me wondering how it's actually designed. I've nothing against Cooler Master, but I think the dope who designed the Web page on the 830 should be sent back for a remedial course.

I was gonna say Tai Chi also but that's fold away water-cooling method seems a little iffy to me (especially if you don't measure/cut the tubing correctly and end up getting a kink when you close the door)

Still 20kg of Pure Al is no joke . . . ;)

The price however, leaves much to be desired . . .

wondering if anyone had looked at the Gigabyte Aurora 3d and their thoughts on it...I own it and I think it is a fantastic case...like it over the Antec p180 mostly because I had no hassles building it...

hassle = no thanks for me.

Main requirements for me are 1) steel chassis and 2) only 120mm fans. Before anything else the case has to be quiet.

I have my dream case... :)

Cooler Master Praetorian + Window. Removable motherboard tray, unbelievable finish, tons of space for wire management. Sexiest case I've ever seen.

My dream case would a Lian Li PC-V1000 Plus with:

1) ATX/BTX compatible
2) Removable motherboard tray
3) Ability to install motherboard/tray in standard non-inverted position for heatpipe equipped boards
4) Upper chamber 120mm fan option
5) Sleeved cables
6) Reset button
7) Windowed side panels are optional

This IMO would be the best case in the world if Lian Li would make it.

It basically sounds like a Cooler Master Stacker 830 but without the ugliness and hugeness. Don't get me wrong but the Cooler Master Stacker 830 is a great case but Cooler Master's designs have fallen back and doesn't suit my tastes anymore and the thing is too big for my tastes as well.

I want a Mini-ITX case with 5 5.25" drive bays, no 3.5" bays, made out of aluminum in silver or black.

With a case like that, I can build a low power 6 drive storage server with a EPIA motherboard.

I'm guessing it's the Silverstone TJ03 Nemiz. Really nice case but hella $$. I can't find anywhere cheaper than $240. Most places have it going for $270-$290.

Uh, something like the P-180 but a little less boxier, with plastic a little more durable (ABS) and a removeable motherboard tray. I'd also like the hard drive bay to be 5.25" for mounting HDDs with silencer/cooler boxes. I'd say the P-180 fan setup is pretty good.

anything that doesn't have its door on the wrong side of the motherboard plate (aka Antec/Cheng Min and all their stupid clones).

By the way...you can have CM 830 door swing either other sides whenever you feel like (breaking it down)!!
