Dream Cars

Tell me your all time dream car and short description why you have chose it

Mine would be a brand Z06 Corvette. This car totally screams speed and class. The sleek corners and handling. What more could a guy ask for?

SO LET ME KNOW YOURS

RS6 Avant.

AKA - Grocery getter from hell.

Damn near dust a Z06, and doing it hauling you, your wife, you're two kids, the family pet, and a trunkfull of groceries.

MUHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

Just to list a few......the McLaren F1, new Enzo...Porsche Carrera GT...the MB SL55 is amazing...2002 Lamborghini Murcielago...I love the Audis, but they just don't scream "testosterone" compared to these cars. But sometimes you don't want a car to, either.

It's not about getting into the cars themselves, dream cars are about what you can get into with them 😉

1997 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup Truck with smashed bumber, dented fenders, and scratched bed. No working window levers, and the glorious smell of sweet stale fast food! 4 Cylinders of mediocrity!

Jaguar XKE Roadster Series 1 - black with tan interior.

It is a true classic. Long nose, push button start, rocker switches, ect... Yeah the wiring sucked and the series 1 cars had no synchromesh gearbox, but those can be replaced.

My dream car is the one that looks good, handles well, doesn't use any gas, and is easy on insurance. It would have to be a convertible also. So far, I've never seen a car that meets that criteria, so I don't know what my dream car is.

1970-1974 Plymouth Barracuda meets: looks good, handles well, and is convertible. Misses on insurance and gas.
1989-1994 Chrysler Lebaron GTC convertible: convertible, easy on gas, easy on insurance, looks decent, but doesn't handle too well. (Although not bad...)
You get the idea....

I've had two favorite cars though. A nearly perfect 1975 Plymouth Duster and a 1986 Plymouth Reliant. The Duster looked good, sucked gas, was decent on insurance, and handled pretty well. With wheels and tires, it looked good! I owned this car at the same time that I owned my 1986 Plymouth Reliant wagon. I met my wife while owning both of these cars.

Every car that I've own since then has just plain sucked. Mainly uncomfortable and not fun.

EDIT: It's not the car, it's what you can do in the car?? Well, sort of I guess. I did do something in the Duster with my girlfriend at the time. Never did anything in the Reliant that I remember. My wife didn't want me to sell the Duster, and kept reminding me of that thing that we did in it. But I sold it anyway!

They had synchromesh on the top gears, only first was non-synchro. Later cars had full synchromesh.

Ferrari F550 Maranello. Beautiful, V12...and its a F'in Ferrari.
I also would like a metallic blue 1969 Corvette Stingray convertible. My dad had one for a while...georgeous car, wonderful roar to it.
