I set up a HTPC and I only need about 10 feet range, but the Logitech EX110 keyboard/mouse combo is absolutely terrible.

The EX110 cost me $30, so I am looking for something in that price range. Exact model suggestions? Thanks.

I've read about BTC 9019 as a good alternative. Are there any others in that $30 price range that has good wireless range?

10 ft is pretty close to the max range for that keyboard/mouse. Consider a powered USB hub about three feet closer to your position.

Probably a better long range solution would be to replace the EX-110 with a Bluetooth keyboard/mouse and use a BT adapter. BT has longer legs than WUSB. But it is way out of your budget.

The user reviews of the BTC-6019 don't exactly turn me on.

I just received this item. It's designed for PS3, but some good reviews about its usefulness on HTPC.

This was the cheapest bluetooth keyboard I could find.

I am very very pleased with its range and touchpad.
