I am getting a blue screen, often on start up regarding win32k.sys. It says it is dumping physical memory to disk.
It tells me to make sure I have adequate disk space, check for driver updates, disable BIOS memory, check with vendor for Bios updates or try changing video adapters. Also suggests disabling driver with problem: 0x000008E.
I get the "low on virtual memory" yellow pop up occasionally. Upgraded memory to 1GB ( I know that's low compared to newer computers).
I have no idea what's wrong or where to start. Really can't afford a new computer right now. Can anyone who's computer savvy please point me in the right direction?
It's a Dell Dimension 4600, 8 years old running Windows XP and I do have the orignal discs.
