Drawing a blank

Hey everyone, I'm totally drawing a blank here and I need some help. Okay, I copy and paste a picture on Microsoft Word. Now, how do I put some writing on that image? HELP PLEASE!!

Well, one option is to open the image in Paint or some photo editing software, add your text to the image there, save it, then insert it into Word.

I don't think you can do this directly in Word. At least, I can not get Word to let me add text to a .jpeg image.

Make a text box, move it above the pic? You might have to fiddle with layout settings and move it so that it's on top of the pic, not below it..

Yeah, I experimented some more and was able to place some text over an image by using the the Text Box tool on the Drawing toolbar.
