DRAM contract prices dropped by almost 30% on a monthly basis in April ... In light of inventory levels at PC OEMs, JP Morgan believes that DRAM prices may see another 20% downside risk in April to May ... Projecting the price trend for May, Bear Stearns said prices of 512Mb DDR2-667 should fall further ...

I don't know about DDR2 but DDR400 prices went up 80% since 2006. Last year i bought
2GIG CORSAIR XMS DDR400/PC3200 for $140 and now NewEgg sells it $245-$40MIR=$205 final price after MIR.
DDR2 memory 2gig you can find even for $120 !!!!! F*CKING CRAZY yes?

2gb for ~ 85, i never thought i'd go 4gb :evil:

by the time P35 chipsets come out 4GB DDR2 will be affordable easy
