I am helping a friend at work upgrade his ram in his ancient comp. It is a Tyan mobo, S1680, which takes either FPM or EDO ram. I looked at the ram already installed and it doesn't say which ram it is. All the specs on the ram are:
32MB 8x32 1478 K97-1326 72 pin

Can anyone help me identify this ram please?

Also, at boot it shows the DRAM Type as FP, which makes me believe that it is FPM but I want to make sure before I order more. Thanks!!

I went to Crucial's website and put in the Tyan motherboard, this is the link to see if it is the right RAM.

From the link above, a FPM SIMM picture, here.

Hope it helps some....

The manufacturer of the ram is MGV. Does anyone know how I can cross-reference the P/N with MGV. The part number is shown in my first post. (K97-1326)
