Edit: I've been messaged by the mods telling me that after a month and a half later, and pages and pages of responses, I need to add commentary to my OP. So here it goes:
Based on these initial appointments, I predict that Trump will continue to assign questionable appointees to significant positions within his administration that will do nothing to drain the swamp and he will break yet another promise to those that supported him and voted for him but they will say nothing about it and go along their merry way.
Also I predict he will do nothing about "lock her up" and they will also go along their merry way.
Jeffrey Eisenach, a consultant who has worked for years on behalf of Verizon and other telecommunications clients, is the head of the team that is helping to pick staff members at the Federal Communications Commission.
Michael Catanzaro, a lobbyist whose clients include Devon Energy and Encana Oil and Gas, holds the “energy independence” portfolio.
Michael Torrey, a lobbyist who runs a firm that has earned millions of dollars helping food industry players such as the American Beverage Association and the dairy giant Dean Foods, is helping set up the new team at the Department of Agriculture.
