I seem to think guitar hero3 plays a huge part but in chicago here, they must play that song "Through the fire and the flames" like 3-5 times a day!

so i decided to check out the full album-heres my question, is "through the fire and the flames" in every song? so far, first three tracks have it...

I never noticed this. But then, I have a hard time listening to Dragonforce a lot. I respect their ridiculous guitar skills, but it gets kind of stupid after a while.

Yes, it's basically the same stuff. Operation Ground and Pound=slightly improved Through the Fire and the Flames

It's extremely technically proficient but mind numbingly boring video game music.

Yeah I agree. It stops sounding like a music and starts to feel like a music practice session.

All they do is climb up the scale up and down up and down with variations:

Climb up in A B C D fashion, now climb down D C B A
Climb up in A C B D fashion, now climb down D B C A

Gets old quick. They sound so valiant and medeval sometimes too, which gets me LOL.

I also laugh when I hear it, I dunno what it is, but it always puts me in a good mood lol.

I haven't heard it on my radio station, but I'd pay good money if they would replace Ozzy - "I don't wanna stop" with any Dragonforce song in their rotation.

The radio station that I listen to in Nebraska play KottonMouthKings and Seether all day :( It gets depressing. Two bands with zero musical talent.

I've heard them on numerous college radio stations (Seton Hall and Rutgers radio in NJ and on my own campus in PA) but I've never heard them on mainstream rock radio.
