I just added to my collection for the best price I have ever seen. If you are a fan, this is a deal too good to pass up!

dragon ballZ, a never ending series, like a violent pokemon, except they actually ended [what only 300 episodes?!]

the best anime ends in 26. plus a movie or two.

These look like the covers of the legit VCD releases of DBZ that i have seen. That doesnt mean they are legit of course, but the price is only a little cheaper than the real deal, so they may be. Also remember that these are Asian release discs, so that probably means either japanese audio w/ eng. subtitles (gooooood) or chineese dubs with eng. subs (baaaaaad). Or some combination thereof. I watched dragon ball z and gt sagas years ago (before the crappy eng. dubs were released and it got all mainstream and trite). The original japanese audio is so much better.

yeah, i agree w/ zenn... the original jap audio is the best w/ eng subs... if u are gonna buy dbz, make sure they're not the english dubbed unless of course u're into that.

There are a lot of good 26 ep anime series but if you say that then you're over looking some of the best like Kenshin, Slam Dunk, Yu Yu, Inu Yasha, and the list goes on of really great anime that is much longer then 26 episodes.

My bother really likes this stuff but it just looks like a bunch of crap if you ask me however I am really wondering if I should buy a few, this is a really good deal and I actually prefer this to my brother's other idol, Eminem (or however you spell it).

It says on the page
This Cartoon is Dubbed In English!

Edit: Just looked again and you see that black line accross most of the pictures? It is there to cover the website that they stole the pictures from. I don't know about the legallity of the disks but I do know the professionalism is very bad. You can see part of the website on the lower left picture.

they appear legit to me. They are not burns or copies.

I like them, but I don't find myself to be overly picky about english dubbing. I also asked about the pictures and was told that they bought the stuff from a bankruptcy auction and grabbed the pictures from the original supplier of the Videos.

I do not have the hole collection, but each DVD has four toons to it. But I have 36 DVD's. I picked them up while I went for a trip down to Seattle earlier this year. I forgot the name of the store...

This is most definitely NOT legit. The legit release of Dragonball Z in North America are the dvds and tapes released by Funimation. Now they've done a shitass job in my opinion, and won't even release the first 50-60 eps with japanese audio and subs. But yeah, these are bootlegs.

hmm... If they are bootlegs, I can't tell the difference. Picture and sound is sharp.

when the source is available in dvd or can be captured from satalite tv or digital cable, anyone can make a good looking VCD out of it.

These are dubs and therefore american releases. considering the companies that own the rights to release it in the US do NOT sell vcd versions of DBZ, these are %100 bootleg ripoffs.

What is the quality like for episodes 1-67? Is it even close to that of a dvd or is it all blurry and blocky and stuff? I was wondering because those are the ones that don't have the jap version included on the funimation dvds.

oh yeah, for those that care. dbz is getting released on dvd in japan in march.

divided into two sets.
26 dvds per set.
100000 Yen per set. that's ~800USD. :D:D:D

so 2x800 = $1600+shipping for all 291 eps of dbz. :D:D:D
makes me wish i was rich.

I wonder if those will have English subtitles on them (Not that I could afford them anyway).
