Do you like dragonball z/gt? If so pick which one you like more. I used to watch that along time ago. Have you ever seen it?

Dragonball actualy had a funny story line to it, Z was just .. "look constipated for 3 episodes, fight, repeat"

I watched dragon ball Z (early episodes, where constipation lasted 1 episode at max) and those were good. Rest of them sux0rz.

If DBZ were edited down to about 1/3 - 1/4 of the original legnth it would actually be pretty good.

There were some well-done moments amongst the cheese, like first couple of times Goku died to save Earth, parts of the first battle with Vegeta, the alternate reality that adult Trunks came from, etc. and some of the power-up scenes were as "whoa"-worthy as The Matrix.

What bits of GT I've seen were much weaker though.

I like the Japanese version, the Funimation Cartoon Network version ruined it.

Heh....reminds me of a quote off bash.org

<Kuja> How many Dragon Ball Z characters does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Only one, but it takes three episodes.

exactly, the uncut eps are fine

the manga is brilliant as well

DB and DBZ are both good

DBGT wasent based off the manga it was made after because it was so popular

and actually, origionally Akira Toroyama (sp) had DBZ ending after the freeza fight, but they kept it going because of how popular it was

My roomate likes it, I don't. Horrbile animation (it might take talent to make that, but there's a lot better animation to be found elsewhere), mixed with just plain fvcked up characters, mixed with unexplainable storylines, mixed with stupid fight scenes where it takes one person a half hour to do anything makes for some not very good TV.

Thankfully they no longer show it at the time that my roomate used to always watch it, and my roomate no longer watches it at all.

One of my coworkers admitted to being into Dragonball, and one of my managers totally owned him, and actually somehow was able to twist the conversation into calling him a pedophile (jokingly of course). It was great.
