Hey there......how about some specs first?
Cpu=Athlon XP 2000+
Overclocked= 1875Mhz 1.80volts
FSB=150Mhz
Mem bus=150Mhz CAS2
Watercooling with 2 rads, both rads and water tank our outside (35-48 degress)
My comments:
Regradless of where my cpu speed and voltage is at my cpu temp always idles around 80F. I find it odd that there is temp differnece bewteen 1667@1.75 volts and 1875@1.80 volts.
At night I can feel my waterblock and it must be around 45F. Now the fun part, if I open my window which is next to my computer, my cpu temp drops down to 64F.
My Question:
Is my cpu temp really 80F or is it lower around 70F and the sensor is just off by that much? Ideas?
Also, how can I get a temp probe next to my cpu core if Im using a shim?
