dragon plus and ide channels??

Everything is up and running great (winxppro) However an issue.

have hard drive as primary master. cd rom as secondary master and was hoping to put plextor burner on as ide 3 master. I short pinned the mb to disable the raid controller and so I think it should act as just an additional ide channel.

but it is not recognized.

any suggestions??

I am using the IDE 3/4 for Raid0 but I believe that you have to use the Ultra IDE drivers before it will work for you. Also, the BIOS must be set for non-raid controller.
