It has been confirmed that this game will be the next game in the Budokai Tenkaichi series. As a new addition to the Budokai Tenkaichi series, it will be the first on the high definition consoles, as well as on Microsoft's Xbox brand. The game is not a direct sequel to Tenkaichi 3, but more of a spin-off.

The game has a set release in North America for November 10th, November 12th for Japan, November 13th for Europe and November 19th for Australia. A Limited Special Edition bundle has been confirmed, which will include a special steel case, 52 page art book, a CD with the game's soundtrack and downloadable content.

The "Raging Blast Special Pack" contains customized Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks and Gotenks in-game characters, as well as the ability to immediately play as Super Saiyan 3 Broly, one of the unlockable characters in the game.

Love the series (I'm a closeted DBZ lover as most anime fans hate it). I should put a caveat on that, I only love the original Japanese subtitled series, I HATE dubbing. But my understanding is none of the games are really that good. But then I've never played any of them. Just curious how old are you, I'm 27, most DBZ fans seem to be younger.

I'm 36... been a DBZ fan for ages... i love the original series... i hated the Ocean dubs, and especially the funi dubs.. the only thing that sucked for me tho, was most places i could get good Fansubs back in the day had some shitty quality subbing done.

I was estatic however when funi decided to release all the DB-DBZ-DBGT episodes with original language tracks.

It's been ages since i heard a good clean version of Cha-la Head Cha-la.

And to see Gohan turn SSJ2 to a good version of Ummei No Hi .. brought a tear to my eye.

Yeah I was planning on buying the whole thing or at least downloading them all when they released them all with the original tracks!! To give you an idea of how hooked I was on DBZ I watched a most of it on those REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY crappy real media encodes where some episodes where literally unwatchable. It's been years since I watched it all through will have to soon. It's too bad Toriyama got out of the buisness but I can understand why seeing DBGT. It's an OK anime but nothing as good as DBZ. Without Toriyama they lost all sense of controll over the chracters and especially the enemies. He should do another series with different characters but in the same vein.

bump for today's release.

my gamestop opens at 10am.. i plan on being there by 11a-12n
I work till 6am, so i need to get some sleep.

I wonder if this is better than burst limit gameplay wise. Debating on pickin this one up.

been playing it now for 2 days.

The 'special attack' system takes a bit of getting used to, but i think it's 100% better than burst limit.

Burst limit was a joke of a game.
