Dragon Age: Journeys

I don't know how I missed it, but EA is releasing complementary 2D flash games set in the Dragon Age: Origins universe. Items (presumably "a few of them") will transfer from the flash game to the real game. Handy interview:

I liked how Fable 2 did this with their flash game, so I'm glad to see the idea is catching on. Apparently the lead dev is the same guy who did the fantastic "The Monster's Den" flash game, so I think there's potential for serious fun...

DA:J should be out any day now, as it's supposed to launch before DA: O.

So, I've been playing a fair bit of DA:J, and it's pretty excellent. Combat is good, the story is substantial, and has an old-school dungeon crawl kinda feeling. Lotta unlocks, or so it seems.

I played it over the weekend as a Rogue. It's pretty short (about 3 hours to play through) but I guess they may add more content down the road.

I got all three characters up to level 7 by the end. I did not get the Helm of the Deep yet, but so I will have to play through again.
