Problem is there wasn't a good tutorial on tactical camera. For example the first one to die would be my warrior because they are up front and moving characters seems difficult because they never seem to follow my c resume commands.

If your warrior is dying first, that would seem like you have not upgraded their abilities, weapons and armor enough.

Well I made it to redcliff so I'll check that out. Sometimes this game is so big I forget what I need to be doing. I'll probably buy a staff schematic, hoping I have enough for them. Seems everywhere I go I end up dying because I'm not leveled enough or have the right equipment.

You are never going to do a ton of damage with your staff. Even the best Tier 3 staff schematic has something like 115 base DPS. Of course you can bump this up with better add-ons, but I think my staff at the end was something like 220 DPS. I'll have to check the stats on that when I get home but that sounds about right.

You will end up relying on your spells more for damage than you will spamming your basic staff attack.

Yea I have to change my spells around as only my fire ones seem to do good damage. The lightning strike just shocks enemies. There is so much to do I forget to go through all the characters and their attributes.

Things will get better once you can pick a specialization. You can really start to do some decent damage at that point. I also had some problems with my mage up until that point.

LOL, I was playing around with combos last night.

I'm up to level 12 now, playing a mage with mostly Storm abilities. Grouped with The Iron Bull and was doing Static Cage/Whirlwind combos pretty all night. So much carnage.

I got around to trying the demo for this game on PC the other day... was pretty impressed how good it looked and thought it had interesting gameplay.

Seems like a good candidate for a console game... did this play pretty well on XB1 or should I stick to the PC route?

While I'm not the biggest fan of RPG's, some of them are my favorite games. Currently playing FO4.

I also saw Xenoblade Chronicles video yesterday, that game looks surprisingly good for being on a Wii... did X end up being worth anything? If I end up with extra time I might check them both out.

I stopped playing this game a while ago. It seems I may need to start from a different save I got stuck at one of the early story missions and haven't been able to get past that point. I lost interest in it back then and didn't bother trading it in while it was still worth something.

I just reserved a used copy at Best Buy since they have B2G1 on used right now. I'll give it a go as the 3 games combined cost me $22 after a $10 certificate I had.

I have it on PS4 and sometimes the framerate feels like it's hovering in the 20-30fps range. It's a bit stuttery at times.
