WTF is that? Sounds like SecureRom nonsense to me.

The release control software is also made by Sony DADC, the same team that makes securom. But it is not the same product - for instance, it does not install anything etc just as we've stated before. They have the same support site though which is the URL you're seeing.

Kinda bullshit. Trying to decide if it is just not worth an install. I haven't heard many good things about the sequel anyway. Is it worth it?

DA2 isn't a bad game. It's just nothing like DA origins. More of a console button masher. Story is average. It uses a LOT of the same areas repeatedly. Graphics are pretty. It's fun if you enjoy mindless stuff. I repeat though it is absolutely NOTHING like the first game.
