Dragon Age 2 continuity question

Since I played DA Origins I have lost the save games from it. Does DA 2 allow you in some way to indicate what you might have done in DA O or is it basically a choice between replaying DA O or not being able to access certain dialog choices in DA 2?

Don't worry about it, there's not much carry over into DA2. Also, you're allowed to pick from three default conclusions to DAO when you start DA2. I think it's like a "good guy" Human Noble with Alistair as King, a Nuetral Good Dalish Elf with Alistair and Anora on the throne, and then an "Evil" Dwarf Noble with Anora...etc.

Again, don't stress it, there's not much continuity.

There's only a few small things that carry over. I had an amusing conversation with Alistair and heard several times about how awesome my Origins character was. Nothing affected the quests. If the ending is any indication, the next Dragon Age might have more significant carry over from Origins (hopefully).
