Wish I didn't have Origins already, don't really want to pay $25 for the add-ons.

This was what I was waiting for. I still want a new computer though to actually play the game. Mine is giving me all sorts of problems now, but I don't want to get something until Sandybridge is released.

Great price, but $25 is still too high. It will get to $10 soon enough.

With all the DLC? That seems optimistic. Normal price is $50 right now, I wouldn't see it hitting $10 until this time next year during a similar sale and after DA:O 2 is out.

I wouldn't buy a download edition from some shady website like "ImpulseDriven". Or EA or Direct2Drive for that matter. Wait until it goes on sale on Steam. It will always be downloadable, no hassles, no extra usernames to remember or keys to keep track of.

Uh...Impulse is not shady. I would rather have it on Steam instead, though.

I have to confess an excess on this game - PS3 game played, DLC played, expansion not yet played, then the PC version of all of it on Steam for just over $50...

Well, maybe the PC experience has advantages, and that's SUCH a bargain...

Got that too. Not yet played.

If you want the game this is a bargain. I usually say 'support the developer to make more' too, but this one has sold just fine (too much to me).

I actually far prefer Impulse to Steam, and if the price is the same I will always prefer Impulse. Impulse allows you to download as many times as you want, to whatever drive you want (unlike Steam), it doesn't require to be running while you actually use the application (unlike Steam), it will be on your account for as long as you need (the same as Steam), and it doesn't add an additional level of DRM or bloat to your software (unlike Steam). I can't imagine why you would prefer Steam to be honest, other than the Steam deals are usually cheaper. I can't see one thing Steam does that Impulse doesn't do better. (I prefer GoG over both, even though it has its own issues though)

Steam also has the community aspect going for it, but I generally agree with you. Although I'm not sure I would call Steam bloated/bloatware.

Shady? WTF are you talking about? D2D is an excellent place to buy games. Unlimited downloading and put them on any drive you want, and they have customer reviews of games, unlike Steam.

You could easily spend 100+ hours having a blast with the Ultimate Edition and for $25 that's a steal. It's one of my favorite singleplayer games released in the last couple of years.

All of you realize that most games with steam support are still supported by steam even if you purchase somewhere else right? I have bought numerous things from direct2drive and I would recommend them. I purchased black ops from them and it has full steam support.

At the very least you can add any title to your steam account. Some will link in their achievements etc on their own and others wont.

Impulse is great if you can get it. I buy from it or STEAM depending on the deals and games available. I originally got it for GalCiv and Sins of a Solar Empire.

Good Deal.

My only issue to point out is the game itself. Personally I loved the core game but the expansion just didnt scale well. Game felt so watered down. I got halfway through it, no motivation to finish. never tried the DLCs

Basically if you dont own DA, this is a steal.

If you have it but think its a cheap way to get expansions, DLC...I dont really recommend it but that is sort of my personal opinion take on the game.

yeah, Impulse is jsut fine. I'd also prefer steam, where I already have the main game.

I'm waiting for the expansion to hit fi dolla.

This is a fantastic value. I bought DA:O on release day and felt like I got every bit of my money out of it. 80 hours on my first play through, and another 40-50 messing around with alternate builds that I didn't finish the game all the way through with. The expansion has a decent amount of content (though difficulty is very low, the top level skills they add in are REALLY powerful), and so does the various DLC packs. I will say that the DLC packs priced on their own are pretty much all rip offs, but at this price its definitely worth it for anyone who has been wanting to try this out.

First I'd like to thank all the schmucks that bought this at release along with the release day DLC.

This is about the price I've been waiting for, now if only it was for a hardcopy edition I'd be picking it up.
