You know, sometimes it's not about players. Wade or Carmelo would not make the Pistons a better team. They have all the right chemistry and each player knows their role. The pieces fit so perfectly on that team. That is why they win, not because a player goes off for 40 while the other players stand and watch.

A lot of the great players in sports are players who not only do well - but can motivate other people to do well 😀 Teamwork > individual performance (sometimes)
 
If I were him I would definately try to get traded... Sure me might get some rings staying in Detroit but he can actually become a player elsewhere.
