before the campaign was initiated. dr. kay said he learned of the transfer from interviews of iraqi ba'ath officials.

the syrian repsonse:
"These allegations have been raised many times in the past by Israeli officials, which proves that they are false."

thanks for the confirmation, folks. now the question is what kind of military materiel was transfered ?

I heard the interview on NPR. What he actully said was that convoys went into Syria, and he had no idea what they were. Maybe there were WMDs there but he didn't know.

Now I know something fishy is going on. If Winston heard Kay mention Syria on NPR, but the transcript has nothing in it mentioning this part of the conversation, ...

That's it, I'm writing NPR. :)

We have multiple interviews I think. :D

Kay has suspicions, however recall that he believes that Saddam had no WMDs. If Saddam had something in spite of Kays beliefs, then Kay was saying that they might have been moved to Syria in convoys going there. On the other hand, it could have been Saddams porn collection for all we know. There is no credible evidence that Syria is holding WMDs of Saddams creation.

Is this the right one...incomplete maybe?

Na, it was different. Heard it today. Trying to remember the exact time. It may have been from the BBC world service. I have to see if I can find it for ya.
