DR field & brush mower - anybody own/used one?

Just wondering what the quality i like with these & how easy or hard they are to use.
I'd mostly be using it in the open, in an old hay field that I'd like to keep cut down, and a few areas in the woods that i like to keep somewhat clear.

Everything I've ever read implied that they are overpriced. Common sense says the same.

Did you ever wonder how they manage to pay for all those commercials, all those free CDs and DVDs, etc.? Is it volume sales? If so, then everyone on the block must have one by now. Or at least, you'd know someone.

Old hay field? Certainly some farmer would be happy to hay the field for you. They might even pay you something in return.
