After the lack of updates to the S404 product ( the S414 was a firmware update they could have offered I'm 99% certain of) I won't buy any more Konica Minolta digital items. That said, it was/is still a pretty good camera for the price. Just not great and could have been better. I guess I have to buy DSLR to get what I want though... ah well... just not Minolta.

So I read the review, too much $$$ for what it is. Even if I didn't dislike minolta, 20D would get my cash first still. Not bad though, sucks about the USB 2.0 highspeed lie, but I use a reader anyway.

It's pretty cool, I guess, but even if I was a Minolta shooter I think I'd have a hard time getting excited about this camera. It just seems like too little too late from them.

I am a Minolta shooter.

It is hard to get excited. Too little, too late, too expensive. For that money I could defect to Canon and have a decent start on collecting a photo system with much larger support.
