While I was there I took a few pics with the Nikon 8700 and Canon G6 and wasn't impressed when I looked at them at home, but, I'd need to play with the cameras further to get a legit feel for them.

well, there are a couple samples from the XT floating around, and I just posted another thread with some pics I took this afternoon. Some of them look grainy, but that's because I was shooting at ISO 400 and 800.

I stopped by Best Buy this afternoon to check it out. I found the hand grip to be a bit unconfortable. Also sucked that the BB photo guy was talking the whole time I was there so I could really enjoy myself and the camera. At least he knew what he was talking about though...

It seems the black version is out of stock in many places Was thinking of picking this up for a trip to NYC
