DPreview.com: Adobe Launches CS2 & Canon PowerShot A510 Review

do stores like Best Buy usually have functional digicams for you to test with ? I went to one and it only had a Sony W7 functional (wow what a sweet camera) but that may be because it has 32MB internal memory already...

CS2 sounds nice...and I really wouldn't mind an upgrade from PS6, but it is just hard to justify the cost.

You wouldn't notice anything other than a pretty splash screen.

Exactly. Please, I beg you, tell me how I could justify the $600 cost of upgrading from say PS 7.0 to CS2!

(I actually use CS on my home machine. 7.0 at work.)

Gotta find a way to convince my boss to let me upgrade from CS to CS2. We get it cheap through educational software vendor though.

Actually there are quite a number of new features that have been added to PS since 6.0 that greatly adds in working with Photographs (the only thing I use it for). If I get a new digital SLR in the next year or so...I'll probably spring for whatever version of CS is out there at the moment.

We use 7.0 at work, I'd really like to get at least CS here at a minimum. There's a ton of cool stuff they've added. Lightboxes are dope, and who doesnt like nested layer folders?
