I recently built a new system using an Asus 9520/TD (FX-5200) video card. Everything works fine except the monitor energy saving mode (DPMS). Instead of putting the monitor in OFF mode which saves 95%, the monitor is being put in STANDBY mode which only saves about 15%. The monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster 17GLi which went into OFF mode properly with my previos video card (Martox Millennium). The O/S is Windows XP Professional and I'm using the latest NVIDEA drivers.
Would anyone know how to change the DPMS mode from STANDBY to OFF or SUSPEND?
