Some 10.3x in the queue for today's batch. 😉

edit:
To clarify... I've uploaded results of 10.3+

How else can I drive on toward 5,000 posts? 😉
You? A nef? Never! 😉

Hey, whatever works right?😉
I gave my contribution also.
Ohh, It looks like it just auto-sent (to Stephen). Now to wait for it to count.

Newly updated file is available 😀

I'll be back home tommorow and Kk4JC and I will then be brewing up a little something for all us DPAD peeps 😀😉

You should have gotten a PM from me with a ftp address and a user/pass - upload your results.dat file into your folder on my ftp and then download the bestxxx.dat file located in the main dpad directory (on my ftp) and then replace your results.dat file with it. any questions/problems with the ftp address (logging in or how-tos) just PM me and I'll help.

I'll be home tommorow evening so don't expect a response till then since I'll be in a plane or airport most of the day 😀

Thank you man. Good job on setting it up.

Impressive for such a small team. i told u guys i would come back once the client became stable again 🙂
now when i upload my results.dat the results.txt should disappear much in the same way, right?

EDIT: no no no! i think i'm having the same problem as before. it runs for awhile. creates about 12KB of results and then shuts off w/out error or anything noticeable...

Odd... Mine was, is, and continues to be rock-solid.

There's something else going on here than just the client...

NoNoNo - when you upload your results.dat to me i process them. The results.txt gets sent to DPADs servers for counting. DO NOT delete your result.txt files as then you won't get credit for the work you do. uses the send???.exe to manually upload the results.txt file to dpad 😉

To clarify -

Use manualsend.exe to send results to Stephen Brooks. You must still do this.

Use the FTP site to upload results.DAT to the team for our collective "Best250" file.
While connected, download the bestxxx.dat file, and either replace, or paste into your results.dat.

This will make your client continue to improve scores MUCH faster, since you're taking advantage of the results of many machines.

Muonmonitor is highly recommended to manage your results.dat file. It can remove dupes, and sort scores. It's easy and fast to use - and requires no learning curve. It can be found
Here.

We'll help you get the problems figured out. 😉

I pruned my dat file quite a bit, and I don't seem to have the problem (I still might, but it looks good so far).
Overkiller, what do you have in your dat?

Kk

i just started so its only about 250 K and i haven't pruned it or uploaded anything yet.

I found the solution!

if i run Seventeen or bust under a lower priority (so it only consumes about 1% cpu) muon will run indefinitely w/out a problem. Take SOB off and leave just muon on and muon will eventually just stop..lol

well if it works ...leave it alone 😉

Not really THAT bad😛 It wasn't so bad as to blister or anything but I'm sure my neck and ears will start peeling in the next couple days.

Hmm... Now what did I promise when I got back....oh yeah😉 I'll get to work right away😀 😉 Someone will be getting a PM real soon😉

Hey CkG - I found a problem with either my results.dat, or the merged file, when running muonmonitor. There's a 10.114x result with a 'problem' that's hosing the file. Again... I don't know if it was just mine, or if it stems from the bestXXX.

I found it by using muonmonitor and looking at the 'current results.dat' file. It was hosing about 50% of the results. Again - may not be a problem, I've fixed it on my end - but worthy of calling folks attention to. 🙂

I just whacked the result everywhere it appeared in the file, and everything evened out. There were a bunch of 9.x results that needed culling anyway.
