Active crunchers seem to be dropping like flies ,I wonder if their's a problem with v4.43d results being accepted? I've posted at the DPAD forum asking about this.

Btw I checked other days & whilst their are a few other names that show up we are still well down (even including temporary loses from the SETI & F@H races).

I haven't run DPAD in awhile as i've moved back to SOB but how's the new version working? Did they get the initial bugs worked out?
Should people upgrade to the new version?

I don't send results every day, so it is hit and miss with getting in your stats thread!

Then too, with the F@H race, I've been more careful to keep comps busy with F@H instead of DPAD

Heheh ,sure thing ,my main rig has been folding too ,it's just it seems we've lost other DPADers who AFAIK are not in that race.However I'd forgotten about the SoB call to arms.

This also maybe a partial explanation

the only pre-4.44 optimisation allowed is PhaseRotEb1, so 4.43x clients should end up working exclusively on that. However, these new optimisations have shorter results, so it takes longer to get to 100KB! That might explain why fewer appear to be active - it's just they're sending results in less frequently. It might be worth me tweaking the client a bit some time so a send can be triggered by a number of results (e.g. 50) as well as hitting 100KB.

re v4.44c ,a bit early to say ,but their doesn't seem to be major problems occuring from a quick scan of the DPAD forums.That's not to say no-one isn't having problems but I don't know yet if that's an install problem or a bug problem.(See above linked thread).

As for upgrading to the new version I would say a cautious yes, at least on machines that you can easily keep a check on ,& see how it goes.

Since yesterday I've not been getting email sub updates from AT anymore ,anyone else got this problem?
